Lawn Sprinkler System Inspection

Lawn Sprinkler Inspections

An irrigation system inspection is commonly referred to as a sprinkler inspection and is not included in the standard home inspection but is recommended if the home has a system installed. Having a lawn irrigation/sprinkler system can help you maintain your lawn and landscaping while also saving you time. However, they can only do so if it is functioning properly.

A damaged sprinkler system can lead to many issues including damaged lawns, damaged landscaping, structural damage, and even mold growth. Sprinkler systems are complex and can be damaged relatively easily. Inspecting the various components requires extensive knowledge on the different systems, their valves, sensors, and switches. A close and careful inspection is required to ensure the systems run smoothly.

During the sprinkler system inspection we will inspect for:

  • Broken, missing or clogged sprinkler heads.
  • System  leaks.
  • High or low water pressure.
  • Inappropriate sprinkler head locations.
  • Mapping and layouts, sensors, backflow.
  • Over-spray, damaged, old or broken pipes.
